NIGER - Addressing The Escalating Polio Crisis
Cusp Technologies played a crucial role in supporting the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in their efforts to address the escalating polio crisis in Niger.
SOLUTION
By providing live/VSAT facilities, we empowered IFRC to expand media coverage of their initiatives, including the distribution of impregnated mosquito nets and their Polio eradication program.
Through our services, IFRC doctors were able to establish live links to countries worldwide, effectively raising awareness about the urgency of their mission and showcasing the progress achieved so far. Our collaboration also enabled IFRC to produce a compelling short film, further strengthening their advocacy endeavours.
The increased visibility generated by Cusp’s contributions resulted in a surge of support and donations from Canada, Japan, the UK, and the USA, significantly boosting IFRC's fundraising efforts to address the pressing humanitarian needs in Niger. Through strategic outreach and efficient communication channels facilitated by Cusp, the Red Cross successfully attracted heightened support and donations from these countries, enhancing their capacity to tackle the urgent polio situation in Niger.
