OBJECTIVE
SOMALIA - Countering Disinformation
Cusp Technologies provided essential support as part of the AU/UN Information Support Team during the deployment of the African Union Mission to Somalia (AMISOM) in 2007.
SOLUTION
Their integrated ICT solutions, including VSAT links, fiber optics, microwave, and radio solutions, significantly enhanced and expedited operations in Somalia.
Additionally, Cusp played a crucial role in countering disinformation and promoting the efforts of the government and African Union to combat extreme violence from al-Shabaab. They were heavily involved in facilitating two national elections, ensuring transparency and safety by providing services to both national and international journalists and transmitting election processes domestically and internationally.
